Ethan and I were drooling over totally different things in this case. He wanted the giant diamond so much he was willing to trade his Wii. It was strange and familiar to be back at the southcenter mall... I kept looking for Sir Mix-A-Lot, but I guess he was shopping at Northgate or Alderwood.

Just sit back and watch it appreciate in value. Tough to "spend" a diamond though... he'll eventually have to part with it. :)
But think of the lucky lady who's going to wear that on her finger one day ;). Who did we imagine, for Ethan? The day trader's daughter from Long Island?
