The last sunny Sunday
Sunday was as action-packed as the previous two days. We slept as late as we could... Getting in at 3:30 made that s must. Once we we're moving, it was mass at St Louis by 11. It was fun and different - turns out the it's the oldest operating church in the US. I'm pretty sure they said 218 years old. Brunch was right next door, again at Muriel's. Dear Dana had creme brule french toast and I, the alligator hash. As amazing as it had been the day before. On the other side of the church was the museum of Louisianna history, also... Fun. After that, darkness in the form of a nap. Dinner was served after a lovely stroll through the garden district. The Commander's Palace was exquisite. Finally, we caught the end of Borat and then to sleep.

2+ years later, New Orleans is still recovering.
