That voodoo that you-do

So, Saturday. We couldn't be bothered to leave the hotel until early afternoon, and only then did so because of our hunger. Muriel's was the place for lunch - I had a fantastic chicken+pasta dish, iced tea and bloody mary, while the sweet miss went the club sandwich route (hold the bacon and turkey). Later, we found some art for ourselves and treasures for loved ones before returning to the hotel for a clean-up and walk down to St. Louis street for some dinner at NOLA. Seriously, great. Stuffed, we walked to Jackson square to have our palms read by Jerik. Turns out we're an open book AND extremely compatible. No surprise. Finally we did one last costume change and cabbed it to Tipitina's @ 501 Napoleon for Mr Eugene Hutz and his band known as Gogol Bordello. The show was fantastic and although we weren't able to meet our favorite Ukranian in the end, it was such a great end to a most perfect day.
